NEW OPENING!
NEW OPENING!
Located in Pembroke Lakes Mall (11401 Pines Blvd.), the new 100 Montaditos will be the Madrid-‐based chain’s largest restaurant so far, measuring more than 3000 square feet, and will mark the beginning of 100 Montaditos’ expansion beyond Miami-‐Dade into other parts of Florida. Like the chain’s other stores, 100 Montaditos’ Pembroke Pines location will serve montaditos, traditional Spanish mini-‐sandwiches served on crunchy, freshly-‐baked rolls and filled with such typical Iberian ingredients as Serrano ham, Spanish tortilla, chorizo sausage and Iberic cheese. As the name implies, 100 varieties of fillings are available on a choice of white, whole wheat or ciabatta rolls. In addition to its namesake menu item, 100 Montaditos also offers such Spanish staples as patatas bravas (potatoes in a spicy red sauce) and olives in addition to potato chip cones, french fries with four dipping sauces (ketchup, salsa brava, ali oli and a mojo marinade) and five varieties of salads. Customers can pair their food with Spain’s famed Mahou beer or other typical thirst-‐ quenchers, including Rioja and Ribera del Duero red wines, Albariño and Verdejo white wines, claras (beer blended with lemon-‐lime soda) and tintos de verano (red wine blended with lemon-‐lime soda). 100 Montaditos is popular not only for the authenticity of its fare, but also for its attractive prices, including $1 to $3 montaditos and $2 draft beers. Prices are slashed even further on Dollarmania Wednesdays, when all montaditos, draft beers and tintos de verano are $1; Thirsty Thursdays, when a draft beer or tinto de verano is $1 with the purchase of a montadito; and Doublefever Fridays, when patrons can grab two five-‐ bottle buckets of Mahou beer for $15.
